CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale will hold fall commencement ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the SIU Arena on Saturday, Dec. 13.

The total number of candidates for degrees at this commencement is 1,999, with 1,663 candidates for undergraduate degrees, 10 from the School of Law, and a total of 326 from the Graduate School. The Graduate School candidates include 280 master’s degree candidates and 46 doctoral degree candidates.

The 9:30 a.m. ceremony is for the Graduate School and the School of Law and the colleges of Liberal Arts, Mass Communication and Media Arts, and Science.

The 1:30 p.m. ceremony is for the colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Applied Sciences and Arts, Business, Education and Human Services, and Engineering.

The public is welcome at both ceremonies, and there is no admission fee.
